The kindness crusaders are a new group at school. The name for the group was actually started by 3 students who anonymously handed out kindness quotes to students and teachers at the end of last year. Of course they told their teacher who then told me and BAM! a new kindness group has formed. 12 students from each grade are chosen each month to represent the group. These students must show kindness to others consistently and be leaders amongst their peers. They wear yellow vests (red for the 3 who started the group) during lunch and recess to show others that they will lead by example throughout the school year. These students are also recognized on our morning announcements, a letter goes home to parents and they receive CARE letters which are part of our character education program. I am sure there will be more posts to come regarding our kindness crusaders club!!
